Mine is in my sig. I'm just curious if i'm the only one stupid enough to spend this much on a car stereo.

Yes, it's the stock alternator. I'm thinking getting a better one would help it out alot though. Would it? This stereo would hardly work at all without the Optima Yellow top battery. The amps clipped off at very low volume levels without it.

no pics..but i have a 15" Resonant Engineering XXX, running off a hifonics 1505d. i think my alternator is fried though.

you really need to cover that exposed distro block....
