Hi. I am a bit interested in this alarm. Does anyone have this alarm? Feedback?
I was looking for a 2-way alarm, and this deal fell into my lap. I know that it is an older model. What other alarms would you guys suggest in the $200 range?

Well on ebay, at this moment there is someone selling the 791 for 185 with free shipping. That install price is kinda high...what kind of car is this going into?? Auto or manual shift? A typical install price should be around 150 for a remote start system. This alarm can also be installed without the remote start functioning.

$400 seems right for installation, 2 ways require alot of stuff, commmonly a plunger for the hood is installed, one or two shock sensors. you need to affix the antenna to the windshield and also put in what you would for a lesser system.
even for good people its probably a good 4-6 hours work

most basic alarms are shoved up the steering column. a good installed would figure out where the best place to put the brain woul dbe and wouldnt do a CC halfass job.
the twoway is only as good as the installation.
i'm goign to install the minipiezo in my car with a battery backup and set it up with tweed switches so when it comes on it stays on until you shut it off witht he dedicated switch.
