Not if its installed by a qualified shop. Basically, not you or the performance shop down the road. The installer should be MECP certified as well. While not necessarily granting knowledge, it looks good on paper as far as the install concerned.

Exactly. For something like that i would go directly to dealer and ask them about it before hand so you know for sure. No harm in asking.
