Default Which of these 2 tweeters?

Ok heres the roundup..

http://www.techronics.com/index.cfm?...3433&aff=45847

Kicker KS25 which comes with its own crossoever handling 150W RMS at $99 shipped.

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_2768.html

MA Audio for $50 flat free shipping handles 50W RMS comes with crossover. This is a perfect price and RMS for me.

If the MA Audio is good quality for the price over the Kicker then I would much perfer the MA Audio but, I never heard of this company and don't really know of their quality. My price range is at the $50 barrier which is why i also looked at the kicker but, I would much perfer the $50 exact point instead. If the Ma Audio is not a good choice then would anyone know of a 1" tweeter with crossover for around $50 that is of good quality?

I usually associate MA Audio with flea market. But thats me. Out of the two, I would grab the kicker.

Any other brand at that price range?

Also.. the stock tweeters in a 96-98 Civic Ex .. exactly how loud can they go or are they just really low quality? When I turn them up loud they distort and what I consider loud is not what others consider loud.

Does the hole of the mirror section that holds the tweeter house 1" at least or does it have to be smaller? Also how did you connect the tweeter to the woofer?

i dont really get what your asking.. but to take the tweeter mount off i just opened the door and pulled on the top left corner of the door panel a bit and it came right off. you have to cut the red and blue wires running to the tweeter to get the assembly all the way off. then you just take the screw out of the back of the tweeter and voila!

How did you connect the woofer to the tweeter? Im putting in an amp for all the speakers and it has 4 channels. The 2 fronts with the 2 rears. I dont know how the tweeter connects with the front woofer. If you somehow connect them both then that will increase the Ohm im sure but, exactly how do you connect them?

Ive heard the OEM tweeter uses a passive crossover. Is that a seperate box that you have to replace wires with or is that in the tweeter itself?

Oem just run basically one set of wires to the front speakers. It runs a full range signal to both the mid and the tweeter. The tweeter just has a capacitor attached that acts as a high pass and the mid has no x over. Youd probably be better off just a component set and replacing everything.

In my old 96 Civic I replaced the OEM tweets with a set of Fultron..and Man they made my ears bleed:squint: with only 50watt rms goin to em.They also fit snug into the OEM pod where the old tweets were taken out.
