just bought amp off ebay is it any good?
yea, well on some of the cheaper model HU it has a Power Antenna wire, which you have to use for the amp tirn on, which will not shut the amp off when you put in a CD. i'm glad all of ya'll know everything, call me a dumbass! ha
You also ALWAYS use a fuse, no excuses. You dont run a ground wire all the way from the battery. MECP calls for 18 inches or less, but less than 12 inches is ideal. Read the FAQ. In the case of no dedicated REM wire, you can go from the radio fuse in the fuse box. Radioshack has fuses that have a wire with a butt connector already coming out.

I really like Kenwood head units:yes: ...as for Amps im not really sure. I had one given to me and it worked well with 2 Audiobahn dvc 4-om 12's @ 250 watts rms a sub.The amp was only like 800 max. It was a mono runnin @ 1-ohm. LOL btw Kenwood amps dont like 1-ohm trust me.
wned: The next amp I will buy from Ebay will be a Hifonics or maybe Ma audio. Im not sure yet gonna do some more homework before I choose.
