Looking at a couple sites, it says that the T2 should be put in a ported enclosure and not a sealed one. So right off the bat, you know these subs will require something big. That being said, I am reading about 1.5 cubic feet per sub. That will be 3 cubic feet for the pair, not including port displacement. This is going to be a huge box.

I am thinking about going with the T1 because of how much space they take up! One proble I am having is. I am gonna have the T20001 and the T8004 Amps, and the Cpcc40 Cap. On the cap it has 1/0 Awg inputs and 3 4 Awg outputs. and on the amps they accept 1/0 AWG cables. How would I go about wiring the amps to the cap without reducing the cable size!

Running a 4 gauge power wire of a couple feet is not going to hurt your amp. Youll be fine. Running a 1/0 to the trunk, then 4 gauge to the amp is plenty.

I had a guy from JL Audio tell me not to put a cap or an extra battery in the trunk cause all that will do is require more power to charge them and not give the amps the required voltage they need. He said to just get a Better battery and a bigger alternator! He said to run a 1/0 Awg wire to the trunk and put a distibution block there and then run 2 1/0 Awg wires to the amps! One more question! What would you guys recommend? 2 T1 12's or 2 JL Audio 12W7

The debate on whether or not caps work is endless.

But bigger battery and bigger alternator, you can not lose if you can afford it. You will be fine with running a 1/0 to the back and distributing that to the amp through a 4 gauge. They make wire gauge reducers if you are set of running 1/0 off the distro block to the amps and if your amp only accepts 4 gauge.

I've only heard the w7s...havent heard of the T1s yet. But you cant lose with the W7s.
