need a amp
#2
What is your budget for an amp? As for an enclosure, are you willing to shell out $100 for someone to build you one? Or can you design and build one yourself?
As for sealed or ported, how much room are you willing to sacrafice in your trunk. I've had a pair of 12-W3s in a large sealed enclosure hooked up to a JBL 600.1. That setup POUNDED.

well id say my budget is about 200 maybe 300. as for the enclosure i wouldnt mind paying to get one just for my subs.
i mean i want a little bit of trunk space but it dont have to be much but i would sacrifice it to get the best enclosure for my subs and amp combo.
another question i heard if you get a ported enclosure that u should not have to put as much power to it and still get the same output if it was in a sealed with more power. true or false

What impedance are those subs? (ohm)
300 watts x 2 @ 2 ohms. They are heavily underrated and come with a 3 year warrenty.

Generally people say you get a 3db advantage with a ported box. :dunno:

sealed man... it's like this.. sealed will give tigher bass, more like machine-gun tightness, while ported is more boomier yet it goes a bit deeper. i have a 12inch kicker comp vr in a sealed box and my whole car shakes. if you go ported, you'll need a subsonic filter to prevent over-excursion of the cone.
edesigns are awesome.
