Default Please HELP!!! NO RADIO!

Whats up ppl. I also posted this in the prelude section. (sorry if i couldnt do that). I have a 98 prelude. My set up is a Performance Teknique 7 inch monitor in the dash and an Audiofonics ADF-327 DVD/MP3/CD Player in glove compartment. 1 problem: NO RADIO! I need some suggestions on what i should do. I really like the radio and want to do something to have 1 in my car. Anything you could think of? Maybe theres a way I can connect an external radio? Btw, I bought the car from the previous owner like this.... great setup.. just he didnt need the radio.. and I do. Let me know asap. Thanks.

I guess you like the radio for AM stations but if not then you could probably hook up an external sat radio(which I hear are great if you don't mind paying subscription)

How much did you pay for that, and it doesn't have an AM/FM Tuner?? Our Alpine and Pioneer units have Tuners built in along with CD/DVD/MP3 and a 7" Monitor.

No tuner? Weird. Don't matter, satellite radio is 5646446X's better anyway.

Yeah, but how is the Satalite gonna work? He doesn't have FM so a plug and play with FM modular is out of the question. I don't know of any tuners that will hook up to the Audiofonics ADF-327, whatever the hell that is, and if there was, how would he control it.

My bad, double post.

IMO, your best bet would be to ditch the DVD player thing in you glove box, mount the screen somewhere else, and put something like this in the dash..........http://www.crutchfield.com/S-5vCIhJj...0&I=257KDDV510
Hopefully the guy that put the screen in didn't hack the console up too bad to where you'd have a hard time putting a single DIN headunit in it's place.

whats up again... thx for all the replies... so basically im seeing that theres really no easy way out of this... lol : / which kinda sucks but I guess I have to get something different... 1 question? The unit which i have now
(found here: http://www.teptronics.com/adf327.html) is external. Its gettin more and more obvious to me that I guess they dont make externals with radios built in? Any1 have any idea why not or know if they do make them with radios and where I can find one? Im thinking the reason they dont make them w/ radio is signal strength. Any1?

It doesn't have AM/FM because it's not meant to replace your headunit, it's more of an "auxilery" player.
