Default Need help building my box...

Alright heres the deal. I am in need of a new subwoofer box and I want to build one just because I have never done it before. I have looked around at many different sites and they all have equations and shit and im not the smartest kid alive, haha. Does anybody know of a good site that will just give me lengths for the wood without giving me all kinds of equations. I just want to build a simple box, nothing really unsturdy and nothing special. I have 2 12" audiobahns.

Thanks for any help in advance!

Post the model number of the Audiobanhs. Then give the max height you would like for the box to be. Then someone can give you the length and depth of the box. I am assuming you want a sealed box?

The model number is AW1200Q. I would probably like the max height to be about 14 inches. Yes I want a sealed box.

Thanks

For each sub, you can have .5 - 1.5 cubic feet of space. Do you want separate enclosures for each woofer? I would since that middle baffle that separates the two will act as a brace also.

Using .75" material

External: 29.5 x 13.5 x 13.5
Internal: 13.625 x 12 x 12 each chamber. 1.14 cubic ft per chamber before sub displacement.

Cuts:
Front and back- 29.5 x 13.5
Right and left- 13.5 x 13.5
Top and bottom- 28 x 12
Middle brace- 12 x 12

DOUBLE CHECK MEASUREMENTS BEFORE CUTTING. I havent done math or made a box in years.

It is even way too complicated for myself. But you basically enter a BUNCH of information on your subwoofer and what you want from the enclosure, and it designs it for you.

So me being not too smart would probably not be able to use it?

Also Will, the dimensions you gave, those are correct right? And are those for 2 seperated boxes?

Thanks
