Default Voltage Stabilizers

I was flipping through eBay and I came across this Voltage Stablilizer. I fully realise that this isnt a genuine Mugen part and may be of questionable quality, but my question is what sort of effect this might have? Do you guys have any experience of this (essentially a Capacitor over the battery) and what you might recommend?

So it shouldn't hurt to buy one of those things! But my dome light refuses to light up now...it use to when I opened the door, when I hit my key fob to unlock or lock my doors. But since my wife last used my car I can't get it to work.

There's a Euro Accord Type-S, i.e. for us USA kids that means TSX Type-S??

What's different from the base Euro Accord and the Type-S?
