I have an 1988 Prelude, it doesn't have the original deck in it. The original owner chopped of the factory harness and just spliced the wires onto the new deck.

Can you buy a replacement connector to put back in the car? This way when I get my new deck I could just get a wiring harness for Honda and plug it in like the original deck.

 

yes, you can get a new harness from METRA electronics. they are sold at circuit city or best buy under the part number of 71-1720.
