Default Help with CD receiver installation(98 CIVC, Sedan LX)

I bought metra 99-7891 installation kit to install Knewood MP - 625 receiver.

But I having trouble with placing "Radio Support" from installtion kit on the Factory mouting plate.

If anyone installed this please help me.

does your stock radio have the pocket next to it. if it does, then all you need from that kit is a little piece of plastic that acts as a trim ring. it kind of sux that they make you buy the big kit for just that little trim ring.

Thanks for the info. I have a small problem. Face of the CD receiver is not aligned with dash. Face is going little inside.

ANyone any suggestions.

I also unable to hide my old AM/FM tuner behind the center dash panel.

If you see in the following document on page 6, step 4, there is a orange wire going into air condtion control unit.

That orange plug is blocking.

People, who installed before, has similar problems.
Does anyone has any suggestions.

you can hide it in the lower center counsel. you can remove the counsel and place it behind the space above the cup holders.
