Default neon into a box

i was looking at this product on crutchfield, and it seems pretty cool but i just wondered how i would incorporate neon tubes into my box

are you trying to light up the inside of your box? if so, you would need to have a box that had a plexiglass side in order for the light to show through nicely. Otherwise, I have seen some people that have subwoofers with somewhat transparent cones take small leds and mount them to the backet of the subwoofer itself, and it will light up the inside of the subwoofer cone. gives it a nice look, but then again, you would need to have a subwoofer that is capable of doing it.

Or, you could use the tubes as accents on the outside of the box. I would recommend placing them somewhere near the back side so that they are not visible in daylight, but during the night will be able to light up a decent amount of the subwoofer enclosure. You might be able to hide them on the back deck where the 6X9 speakers are and have them light up the entire trunk.

do you own the box you want to use? i have some ideas, but need to see the box. add a pic. below you can see how i use neons on my box.
