How much room are you willing you spare? $600 will get you something nice.

just get anything in a ported box...and run a good high powered amp and everything should sound good...i only got 2 10" pioneer sub in a ported box and only pushing a mtx 400 watt and it sounds better than my friends jl 10w6 but i'm going to pick up my rockford 900 mono by the end of the weekend...i think anythin in a ported box should sound good and yes it makes a big difference from bypass and enclosed boxes...

just get a ported box for your w1 and get a better amp with more power

Youre not going to find a local retailer that carries it. But it is good stuff. Read more here... http://www.icixsound.com/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=24

hey will, i was thinking of just getting the nine.1 and 2 13.kv2's. i dont think i want to sacrifice that much space for the 16.kv2. or maybe i should just go with 1 16OV.2 what do u think?

It seems like you should have any problems running 300 watts. I run a 250 and a 300 together and dont have any problems. How high were the gains? Have you checked to make sure the alternator is charging properly? close to 14v?

I think a nine.1 and 2 12.kvs would be sweet! Run the pair at 2 OHMs, and you got yourself a bass setup. I would put the pair in a nice vented enclosure. You can get more info on the enclosure on their website also.
