Default Car memory

I have a 95 civic ex coupe. I bought this car used a week ago and got a new head unit for it... Every time i shut off the car and turn it back on the clock in the dashboard resets and my memory to my head unit resets too. It's getting old having to change my settings every time i turn on the car, and an accurate clock would be nice to have too. Anyone know what could be wrong?

Try looking for a blown fuse in both fuse panels. 1st. try the underdash one then look at the under hood fuse panel. I had the same problem in a 95 civic sedan.

Deck is wired up wrong, Not getting constant power to the deck to retain memory features. Just power when the car is running. Re Check the wiring

from your stock harness find which wire has constant power with ignition off, that wire goes to the yellow on your deck and the wire that powers up when you turn the key on goes to the red wire on your deck this will fix your problem. if you do not find a wire that has constant power then your stereo fuse is out and needs replaced.
