the whole center section of my car is broken..

the lcd screen doesnt light up, so im unable to tell the time or anything on that screen for that matter. the buttons (auto, defrost, etc) dont light up when i turn my headlights on. i checked the fuse for the radio and it was fine. i thought it might have been loose. but nope. i had called honda up hoping i could fix it without bringing it in. they said the warranty is up to 29K.

does anyone else have this problem? or have heard of this?
its only a 2003 accord with 38K
