Thank you. I like arguing (I should be lawyer). No harm done.

I would go with Infinity's (that is what I have in my Integra) in the front also and add an amp if you have the money. Be aware may have issues with the door panel because of the speaker magnet. You might want to pull out the old speakers first, and then see how much room you have to play with. I believe the speaker baffle is built into the door on your car so be aware of that before purchasing speakers. I usually end up cutting the back of the baffle out and just mounting it in there. Some people prefer to go a step further and use dynamite to make a custom one. I will improve the sound slightly because it will stop the sound waves from resonating in the door. For speakers, I would go with components because of the quality of the sound you get from them. This would involve making a hole for the tweeters in the door panel so get ready for some custom work. Seeing that you want to add an amp, components would be a good choice.

My personal preference on amps are Alpine, MTX, and Infinity. They are all good products, but Alpine would be my first choice out of the group. Keep in mind it all depends on what you want out of the audio system. If you decide to add an amp, get 4 gauge wire run to the back of your car. It will allow you to expand your system later a lot easier since you won't have to rerun it if you add more amps.

Default The search is on now

Hey Vpuppy

Thanks for your advice. I will defnitely go for a 4 channel and components are a good idea. My search is on now...

I am looking at the Infinity 6.5 6000cs for front doors (i will keep in mind your comments on the gap) and for the amp...i dont know yet....infinity is sort of expensive for my budget so i am looking at kenwood/alpine. BTW..what do you think of sony stuff? Do they have good speakers and amplifies? The guy at one of the stores said the xplod series is really popular.
