Where are you installing it?

But it is pretty simple. The purpose of Dynamat is to be used as a sound deadener. You want to put the Dynamat on metal to put some weight on it. THat will keep the sheet metal from vibrating.

Clean surface off very good, that way the adheasive will stick well. Then cut the appropriate sized sheet, and stick. It will help if you use a roller to getting get the glue on. But before you do any of that, tell us where you are planning to put the Dynamat.

It's used to deaden trunk rattle and stop the trunk from flexing. Even with the matt, my trunk rattled a little still, the matt didn't even do much so I took it out because it looked tacky anyway. Just spend 20$ and get a liscence plate dynamat. It's deffinetly the most effective.

what's the point of $20 extra for the dynamat license plate kit? isnt it just a smaller plate-sized sheet of dynamat? if that's the case, if you've got an extra scrap just slap it on the back of the plate, that would do it
