Just go to the dealership you bought the car from and have them look up the reset code. Reset codes are used to discourage car thieves from stealing your HU. Car thieves don't like to go to the dealerships to ask for the reset code, since you might have notified your dealer that the car was stolen, and while the thieves wait for the reset code, the cops show up and arrest them and recover the vehicle (hopefully). You don't have anything to fear, since you're the owner, so just go back to the dealer and be done with it.

The head unit is telling you that you have stoled it. So just disconnect the battery and repeat the process no more than once. This problem happened to my friends 99 integra. It worked for him.
