GJ CplJon. I'm gonna be building a ported box off the Diamond specs for my TDX 15. Sealed is too mellow for me, even with my D7402 amp. Ported is more fun.

Man, thats awesome D7 amp, TDX, I'm jealous. Those specs are great and the audible difference is incredible. Ported is the way to go, hope yours works out good.

I'm actually about to replace the starter battery with a red top. My battery is about to go out and I don't want to have to mess with wiring and hiding a yellow top in the trunk. If I had the money and space I'd do it in a heartbeat, but the red top will have to suffice. I'm also just under 1000w so the draw isn't too harsh.

Either way any dual voice coil speaker can blow an amp if it is wired work, normally people go parallel to bridged and 1 ohm an amp to death.

Ok, just making sure. :happysad:

I have 2 D7 amps, actually.. the D7402 and the D7104. I'm also running Hex comps up front and I have a spare set of M5 comps I might use for rear fill.

I was running a pair of MacDaddys before, but the 15" TDX was just too damn sick for me to pass up. I'm such a Diamond whore.

I hear ya, the dealer I used to work with had 8 12" macdaddy's in his chevy 2500 truck. I think he changed them all to TDX's, must be nice to be sponsored, nonetheless they were some of the sweetest things I've ever heard. I always wanted those M5's, but they consistently come out with newer and upgraded products each year. I'm thinking some D6 61/2's up front for the rear fill--kind of an oxymoron.
