I just replaced my 6x9's in the back of my 02 ex coupe. It should be nearly the exact same procedure. It's a bit of a pain...I found a procedure here on the forums though...If I find it i'll paste it into this thread though. It was most helpful.

You had 6x9s in the back? Maybe they did the coupe and sedan differently. My 03 Sedan has 5 1/4".

You guys have the upgraded stereo? I know it's an option on the 05s, but not sure about the 01-04s. I have the regular 4 speaker stereo.

I'm skipping rear speakers for the time being. I don't feel like spending the money and doing the work to install them. Once my install is done, I'll take a seat in the back with the stereo at a low volume and see how well I can hear the music. If it's too quiet back there, then I'll look for new rear speakers. I'm using a tuner head unit, so all my speakers need an amp. The fronts will be getting 100w each and I have 2 spare amps to use for the rear if I decide to run rear speakers. One is an Alpine 25x4, the other is a Pioneer 30x2. The ONLY reason I have for rear speakers is my kids...they like to hear my music. If it wasn't for them, I'd never consider rear speakers because I don't want to mess up the sound stage.

Yeah 6x9's...I actually had a hard time figuring out what I have...nearly all sites online show that I have 6.5", which was odd.
