Default mp3 players

Yo guys i got new deck in my car that plays mp3 cds. But I made a cd that has mp3s and wma's on it but some of the files say protect when i scanned through it. Is there anyway around it?

wen u ripped CDs, make sure the mp3's that u r creating are not "protected". the mp3s u burned on to the cd are "protected," so ur head unit wont play them.

wma's are more likely to be protected than mp3s. I just stick with mp3 format.
