Alarm question??

I have a remote, but it doesn't seem to work!! Old owner say, he thinks the mechanic disengage the system!! Info on alarm?? its 1997 Accord Lx

are you talking about the factory alarm? does the lock/unlock work? the old owner might of killed off his battery and the alarm reseted and was to lazy to program the key fab.

lock unlock buttons dont' work, pretty sure its a factory alarm

you are going to have to program the remote to the the alarm brain it is factory go to a dealer if it is a after marker on cheak the manual or call the disributor if it is dei got to a dealer cause if you call them they don't tell you anything
