what price range are you looking at? i know the x's are really power hungry and they are 1k watts rms a piece. i would use a alpine mrd-m1001 or the jl 1000/1 for each sub or depending on you are gonna wire them.

well im gonna get the two subs 4 450 shipped. And those amps are too expensive, i can only afford only 1 of them. Any other amps that i can use for the subs or will i have to start saving my lunch money. Or can i pull it off with just 1 amp? cuz i dont plan to have the subs on full power.

kicker subs aren't bad, my friend has two L7's (the square ones) and they are ridiculously loud. i had two kicker comp vr's and they were alright, all companies make the top of the line subs and the bottom of the line subs, it all depends what ones you buy.

i have alpine type r's now and i like them a lot, not that expensive either

im thinking about getting the apline type r's cuz they have max power of 1000watts and it would be much easier for me to get an amp for two of those where as if i would get the type x's i would have to spend at least an extra 600 for the amp(s). What amp do you use for the type r's?

im gonna get 2 10" subs, i just needto get an amp and a good case for em. where can i get a case.

so what type of wattage does ur amp give out(sry but i know very little) cuz then that would give me a much better idea of what type i should get. And do u know what type of amp wattage would be good for the alpine x-types?

my amp probably puts out MAX 100watts to each sub. probably less than that. they still bump. i have no idea what would be good for the x-types
