Default Help! Why does my alarm go off when I try to start my car

I just purchased a used 99 accord ex and I am having trouble with the alarm going off occasionally when I start the car. I open the door with keyless entry and even when I start the car in less than 30 seconds the alarm sometimes sounds. Anyone have any ideas on why this is happening and how I can avoid it?

thanks

Matt

aftermarket, but you can program most alarms to do diff things lie starter shutoff, valet mode.somtimes button combos get pushed in your pocket and it messes things up....look into it,just a suggestion .
