im getting a 96 gsr cd player and i want to kno if i can use the stock wiring from my civic to bolt it in and if i can't, wat do i need to buy to make it work?

u can almost positive make it work... the harness may not match up.. but with some pain in the ass work you can rewire everything.. or buy my 2000 OEM civic cd player

 

ou see the thing is i dont like doin electrical realted things cuz its just too tedious. i kno that honda changed plugs in 98 so i'll definitely need a new plug if i bought ur 00 player.

why are u putting in a factory HU? Why don't u just buy a aftermarket HU so that it'll look better and will definity have more features. But yea...if you hate the electrical wiring and stuff, then changing HUs isn't your thing.

 

i'm gettin a head unit with integrated cd player cuz my stock set up rite now is the factory radio and the factory cd player way down near the cup holder. i just want more convenience and i dont really care for much more power. besides i think the stock cd player looks fine
