Default System on a budget

I'm trying to spend under 300$ (with installation) for a 2way amp and component speakers. Currently I have a 94 Integra w/ a Eclipse 3414 HU and Alpine Type-S 2-way speakers.

After some research, ive found:

Alpine MRP-T220
2/1 Channel V-Power Series Amplifier
+
Infinity 5 1/4" Reference Component Speakers (5000CS)

both are about $100 each.

OR

Infinity Kappa 50.5 Components without an amp.

I'm going to at least try the install myself, hopefully it will work out.
Open to any suggestions or changes

your first option is better than the 2nd, the Kappa 50.5 cannot performance its best w/o an decent amp. plus your HU power alone are not enough to run any component set.

you can try these Arc Audio, sound pretty nice and at a low price:

and PG amp, give a little bit more power and at alpine level or even better:

Those are $218, leaving you some left for wiring kits, speaker cables, and little bit for sound dampening!
stinger wiring kits

sound dampening for door panel:

Hopely that give you some more choices....

I found that the Arc Audio Components have too much depth for my car, and the amp is a bit ugly IMO.

I researched a bit and heres what ive found:
http://www.ikesound.com/product-product_id/71 Alpine 5.25" Type-R Comps
http://www.ikesound.com/product-product_id/1283 Alpine MRP-T220
http://www.ikesound.com/product-product_id/1465 Amp Install kit (I'm not sure if this is everything I need)
http://www.ikesound.com/product-product_id/618 Dynamat for door panels

Comes out to be about $240 w/o shipping (wouldnt mind saving money for buying xmas presents)

I dont think youll have too much or a problem with depth. My type x's fit fine. If you cant make an mdf spacer you can just cut the back out ot the plastic basket thingy and they should fit fine.

I think you just love alpine. LOL

Look like you're set.....
(those PG series amp are pretty nice, though) but those components you listed will work fine too!!!

If you only running one amp...then that kit is enough and you only need some speaker wires.

Good luck...
