Default Anybody using a Black Widow BWN-500P 2 way paging Alarm in their TYPE R ??

I just got a Black Widow BWN-500P 2 way paging Alarm installed by Best Buy. Every three days or so I need to jump start the car because the battery dies. I removed the fuse from the alarm and left the car alone for a week to find out if the alarm was instead the problem. It was indeed. My worries is that the stock ITR battery just does not have the capacity to support this 2 way alarm if let alone for 3 days.

My question is... Does anybody else have this alarm system ?? Are you using the stock ITR battery ?? Do I need to upgrade ?? or are there other reasons/ problems why the car battery dies every 3 days ??

Moved to Audio & Security...

FWIW, it sounds to me like you've got a short somewhere within the wiring for the alarm.

The ITR electrical system is no weaker than any other Integra, or any other car for that matter.. so IMO the problem is unique to your installation.
