Default accord 2004 and alarm remote question

hello,

i'm new here, and i tried searching for the same topic. i hope it's not too big of a stupid question.

when i arm my accord 2004, i press the button twice to make a beep. sometimes it's a soft beep, sometimes it's a loud beep. it's very inconsistent. how does this happen? is something wrong with the alarm speaker? i dont know much about cars, and i just thought it's kinda weird. thanks in advance.

p.s. i put the same topic in accord forum, mod, you're welcomed to delete one of them that you think doesnt belong in the right forum. thanks.

what alarm system are you using? i know with some of the vipers there's different beeps for different modes and you can use it to tell what setting or if there's something wrong with it. if it's a dei alarm than it should be in the installation manual. but before you try that see how the ground is on the siren it could be kinda flakey so make sure it's actually a wire that is grounded inside the car and not to something in the engine bay. the rust will mess with it.
