What is "ainet" ? I did a search but came up with a bunch of sites that I can not read hehe Thanks guys!

Ai-NET by Alpine is just their name for the system that connects and controls MOST of their CD changers and XM Radio Tuners to their head units. Its mostly just a fancy name that distinguishes their type of control bus.

ahhh ok cool. Also I saw a switch under my radio. This is what I think I saw

Dim eq and something else.

What is that?

AiNet bus can be used in two ways....

you headunit can take data in from a xm box or let's say a changer

or, you can use it as an output to connect to a eq/processor like the H700. That switch determines if it's output or input.
