Default Help Fuba Antenna

I recently did a Fuba antenna COnversion on my Hatch, but my reception is not all that good, I hooked the amplflier wire to the power antenna wire coming out of my head, so i hool it up to a 12 volt power source? Aslo i dont know if it my head or not but when i use teh rear defroster or the windsheld wiper fuild and listing to my radio the resception goes to crap its total static. Its a Jenson CD head with removeable face. I can give more detail on the head if needed.

it sounds like you have a bad ground somewhere, or a loose connection.

i never seen one of those Fuba antennas before, how many wires are there, and what are they.
