Hey, I just ordered a pair of those as well off of Ebay, got mine for $117 shipped... A friend of mine put a pair of those in his Trans-AM, he says they thump even without an amp, what kind of head unit do you have, for that matter, what kind of car do you have?

I've had experience with them. they sound great if you just power them from a head unit but they crave more power. if you listen to them with your headunit first you'll like 'em. but if you listen to them amped (I have heard them amped with 65W) you are going to be blown away. they sound absolutely fantastic when amped. the more power you give 'em the harder they hit and the clearer they sound.

Yea, they are a damn good set of speakers, I have a set of their 6.5 three ways up front, hopefully with them all around it'll sound awesome. Maybe I'll get a 4 channel amp in the future, will just have to make sure they don't go above the RMS for the fronts.
