Default deactivate anti-theft?

i replaced the battery in my acura rl and i do not know the security code for the radio... is there some universal code that would work rather than taking it to the dealership and having the entire system removed?

I believe you need the serial number of the radio - the code should have been provided to the original owner. I'd scope out the docs in the glove box for the code. Sorry if that's no help, but otherwise you will have to go through the dealer to my knowledge.
