Max mounting depth for doors in 5th gen Accord?
im replacing the speakers in my 94 accord coupe (LX). im going to put 6x9s in the rear instead of the factory 6.5's and want to put decent 6.5's in the front. I know crutchfield claims most speakers wont fit in the fronts due to shallow mounting depth but when i measured it looks like i have about 2.25 inches before the magnet would hit the window guide. anyone know for sure?
id like to fit kappas in there (mount depth of 2 1/8")...crutchfield says no but i think theyll fit
