Infinity 6002si vs Infinity 6002i

looks the same except the i has a better frequency response and has more wattage. why would they price it the same if its "statisticly" better than the si version?

I own the 6002si and the mounting depth is like 1 7/8" since the 1997 accord front doors dont allow for the 2 1/16" mounting depth of the 6002i.
They are probably priced the same since the materials are the same except for the smaller magnet of the 6002si.
The main difference between the two is the mounting depth and the smaller magnet...the bass response on the 6002si isn't as full as the 6002i but the mids and highs do sound great with 55 watts amped to the speakers.
