excuse me, which direction to a good system?
I'm new to this whole car audio stuff... but enjoying it so far. I still have a lot to learn, (which is why i'm here in the first place) so I thought I would start of by seeing what you all think about the stuff I'm wanting to buy for my car (96 accord sedan).
hu: sony cdx-f7700
speaker amp: Mitzu model MPA-2201BK (2000w)
sub amp: MA Audio M1883i (800w)
fr speakers: PRECISION TS-A1680X 4 WAY 6.5" (500w)
rear speakers: PRECISION TS-A6995X 4-WAY 6x9" (500w)
sub: BOSS SS-12 12" SINGLE (800w)
first of all... any thoughts you guys have on these parts is greatly appreciated!
my only concerns so far is the installation and the power consumption. Installation doesn't seem to be to difficult, and I am a patient man, but I can see myself getting frustrated with it, so any tips you guys have would be great! as for the power consumption... I have read about systems more power than the alternator can give. I've tried to find information about how many amps my alternator gives vs how much is used by electrical equipment (lights, windows, etc) or even how many amps is required to run a system, but can't seem to find anything. Let me know what you guys think. hopefully, at least, I am headed in the right direction!

Instead of commenting on the parts of your system, I will try to help you with the rest. But just to get it out the way, you are buying bottom of the barrel equipment.
But everyone has different standards.
A good way to tell how many amps your system can use up is by adding up all the fuses, from the headunit to the amps. I can't find the amp you are buying online, so you are going to have to do it yourself. And then from there, you find out how many amps your alternator is capable of. What car is this system going into?
The key to installing a system is knowing what the heck you are doing. You should be able to write out step by step what you are going to be doing. Having patience is a must too...if you start to have trouble, take a step back, relax, then back track. Otherwise, you might start breaking stuff.
If you run into any trouble, just post it here, and I am sure someone will help. If you like, you can always PM me, since I don't frequent this forum like I use to. Good luck.
