ok i am planning out my next system and i am goin to do everything right this time. hu is goin to be either the AVIC-N1 or the AVH-P6600DVD leanin toward the avic-n1, 6.5 and 6x9 are prolly goin to be infinity but i don't know series yet, subs are goin to be 2 xxx 12's and 2 brutus 1500d's, but my problem is that i have 2 jl's 8 that i want to do something wit. i can not sell them b/c they was a gift so is there anywhere to put them in my 96 accord

 

Ditch the 6x9's. Make cutouts in the rear deck for the 8's and mount them free-air with low power. They'll give you nice midbass to compliment the XXX's. :rockon: :joshers:

 

depends what 8"s....basically, I would avoid using them.

Also, whatever you use for highs, you will need mega power to keep up with the XXX;s
