Default amp under seat

Anyone ever install an amp under the seat of a 94+ integra? Thanks

i had one on my prelude (the previous owner put it there) i dont know if its the best place for it considering the amp gets pretty hot, but it definately worked

yeah i had a small ppi and phoenix gold amp under the seat in my car for a while. Didn't have any problems. They were small enough not to get in the way even when the seat was foward.

It's better to put the amps under the seat if they fit. They get cooled better then in your trunk.

On a hot summer day without A/C on...would it really get cooled better than in your trunk? I would figure that in a small space under yourseat, it would get over heated faster...

Nope! Do you drive with the windows down on a hot summer day with no a/c? There are not vents in the trunk.

I think there is some type of small vent on the left side of my civic trunk...on the wall...it looks like a vent I dunno...I guess you're right lol....

I would'nt install an amp under the seat, it gets poor air flow so it'll probably over heat. I would recommedn on the back of the rear seats or something...so I've heard
