Are they any good? I can get a set of two 12's for $119, is this a good deal?

if put in a good enclosure, they'll provide decent sound quality, but not get extremely high output.
they're alright. for 120 i'd think about getting a pair and seeing what i could do with them

those are ok. but they aren't very flexible, i.e. you can't play with the wire configuration much. they can't handle much power either. i fried a pair of these in my last car ( i got the same deal from circuit city ). don't put more then 300 per sub and keep it at 4 ohms and it'll be ok. should last a year or two.

aren't they rated for up to 600 rms? Kinda glad I didn't get em if what you said is true. Maybe this time instead of getting whats most affordable at the moment, I'll save up and get the Image Dynamics subs I really want.

check it out, these are "rated" at 1020 watts. i don't know where they come up with that figure. what kind of amp did i have though, that i can't remember. i wanna say it was a directed 750d. but i can't remember. i love directed products, i have a 1200d powering a kicker L515. I love 15's. Image Dynamics are nice as hell. Save your money and get the ID's. They will last a lifetime if you treat them right.

My bad man, I know you had to get rid of your ID stuff a while back. Still haven't recovered I see:cry:

I've been wanting some ID subs for a while now, but I've always gotten what I could afford at the time instead of saving up for what I really wanted. This time I'm gonna save up and do it right the first time.
