They aren't that bad, but its annoying the hell out of my how little midbass and how unclear the highs are.

Which infinity components are you using? I have the Kappa series and the highs are pretty clear and there is a decent amount of midbass for me.

but if you are going to compare them to focal...the infinity's will get blown away

If you can afford them, then go with Focal 165K.

 

I got reference....they're good for me. But maybe it's just because of my superior mental abilities.

u just scared the $hit outta me. you said infinity speakers, i thought you meant Kappa 60.5cs which i just bought. hahaha...ya reference series suck ass and so does kappa perfect 6.1. oh yeah Cashis, do ur kappa xovers have contour adjustment? it says mine have it on the manual, but when i opened them up, nothing seemed to be adjustable. weird.

 

haha I was just going to go ask Infinity about that. It says that there is that adjustment. I swear I stared at my crossover for a good 5 minutes trying to find it to no avail. *shrug* Oh yeah, and a -2db attenuation setting would be nice. The tweets are a little on the bright side.

 

i almost bought some 5.25 crystal comps today... i might just save up and get focal 165k2..:thumbup:
