:blush: hey i dont have the money for an alarm system right now, so i bought a visual deterance ( led ) it comes on when the ignition is off and flashes ( so its like a alarm light).....so yeah anyways have this thing its a alarm high density led. but idont know how to install the dumb thing!

depending on which one you've got, they usually have 3 wires coming off them. one is a ground, one is battery + (constant), and another for switched power (ignition +) so that when the scanner/led loses the switched/ignition signal it turns on.

 

the light calls for the wiring to be hooked up to igntion so that when the key is out the light comes on..how do i do that?
