in an integra or any modern car (say 94 or 95 and after) that comes with a tape player.....do these cars have that cd line in thing where u can plug in a portable cd player into ur radio so u dont need a new cd stereo system for ur car??(it wouldnt hurt but sometimes the money just isnt there) just wonderin and hopin to thx

what kinda of plug do you need? cant you use the cassete tape thing that comes with the CD player? like the car kit.

Yea the thing you're talking about is the car kit. Really crappy and ghetto. Why don't u just invest some money in a aftermarket HU with a single cd player or just look around for a factory cd changer. Yea factory cd changers are more expensive. Better yet...they have cd changers for about $80 that are fm modulated. Meaning no wires needed to connect with the headunit but instead it "taps" in to the fm tuner.
