the equipment is an advantage in car audio but the install makes the sound.
for amps- the best ones out there are brax,arc audio , mcintosh,zapco.
best for the buck is a different story - you need to find good deals on these said amps . there a lot out there .
i was able to find an arc audio 100x2 amp 2100 cxl for 300$. now that is a good deal .

um, Bose sucks ass... they take a $2 paper speaker and put a $400 price tag on it... and it dosent sound good at all. They market their product to make people think they are good.
The best for your money, Boston Acoustics or Polk Audio for subs and Alpine for amps... their new mono blocks are beyond sick!!

IMO, bose is somewhat like JL Audio. their stuff sound great to most people, but there is that anti-JL bandwagon going on.
and even though they sound good to normal listeners, theres better out there.
