the amp he has doesnt do 2OHM bridged.

RMS Power measured at 12.5 Volts DC:
37.5 Watts x 2 into a 4 Ohm load with less than 0.05% Thd+N
75 Watts x 2 into a 2 Ohm load with less than 0.1% Thd+N
150 Watts bridged into a 4 Ohm load with less than 0.1% Thd+N

and its too small to be powering 2 of those subs. thats the reason i believe for it to be getting so hot.

I didn't make the box myself, bought it at some "stereo corner store."

I also called several places, here is what they told me:

1.) pushing the amp too much and the subs can't take it, which is why they are distorting

2.) bad box

3.) bad subs

4.) bad wiring


???????????????????? -----ugghhhhh... i love having my system in my car but when problems come up i hate it.
