Oh guys, if you could only hear my voice right now you would be able to tell im fricken pissed...So i will vent here....

Beginning of march I purchased a Clarion VS735 in dash dvd/vcd/ etc..... player....

It worked for close to two weeks and it started to develope a problem where it would turn on when it felt like it. Something inside was really jacked up.
So I sent it back to the place I bought it and in turn they sent it to Clarion to get fixed.

After waiting for two months the vendor I purchased it from heard from clarion and clarion informed him that they will be applying a credit to his account for this........So im like ok so send me another one. That item is discontinued and therefore no one has them available.

Im driving to Miami in 1 week and I need a DVD player to watch some movies driving down I-95. ( I really dont want to hear my g/f nag the whole way.

I saw this dvd player and am thinking of getting it for now.
Its a cheap brand but I like the way it looks.

I don't get it, the only thing it looks like you are out is the 2 months - which sucks, but they are giving you back all of your $$ for the DVD player? Sounds to me like you got a pretty good deal out of it....

So you got one lemon product - these things happen - just be happy that it was covered under warranty.

And man, you had better get a new GF, not a new DVD player if you can't stand a long car ride with her

My GF doesnt nag that much. I was just teasing. Watching movies does kill the time driving down there.
We'll they are still trying to get me the Clarion DVD but im just going totell them to refund me my cash.....I'll buy the Pyle of shit one for now. When I get back from MIA i'll buy another one.....

Im stupid though because I was thinking originally of buying a Kenwood TV/DVD head unit but I had my sony XM, CD changer and at the time i really didnt want to get rid of all of that. So I bought the Sony XAV 7W and its a great TV just that everything add-on is external..

Hopefully Sony will come out with a 7' DVD/TV etc.... head unit.

 

get the kenwood double din dvd, mp3, vcd and cd player.

its about 1200.

 

the pyle dvd player doesnt look like an INDASH player.

I think he knows it doesnt have a screen, maybe he has the portable screen and just needs the dvd player...but if he thought it had a screen, well :slap:

 

My Head unit is a Sony XAV 7W , it has a 7in screen in it.
AM/FM/CD/XM.....but doesnt have a slot to play cd's dvd's. EVerything is external to the unit.
