Default System for a 2000 prelude

I was planning on getting a system in my lude... I need more bass. Was thinking between 1 12" IDQ or 2 10" IDQs.. With one 12" I'd be pushing 300watts to the sub using a PG tantrum 600.4 with 2 channels bridged.. and using the other 2 for some components at 75watts per channel. Othewise with 2 10's i'd be pushin 300 to each 10" and would have to get another amp for components in the future. My concern is that with one 12" when I get components they would overpower the subs.... and with the 2 10's is just a lil more costly since i'd have to get another amp to power the fronts.. what do you guys think which setup would you think about getting.. want to spend as lil as possible but want a good setup.. mainly looking for some extra bass.. mainly good sq with the ability to bump when I want it to... holla

you would be fine with the single 12 - I ran a very similar setup and it blended very well. I'd suggest you actually port the IDQ - I think it sounds better that way when used in a single sub setup.
