ok, when i turn on the stock radio and its plugged in blah blah blah...it asks for a code...i tried to install an aftermarket cd player in hopes to bypass the anti theft b.s., but that did not work...i was wondering if there was any type of "reset" code or anything along those lines...maybe then i could get some radio action in my car, and hopefully use the aftermarket cd player....

search for a thread here, there was a guy that can get you the codes if you provide him with the numbers.

the code only applies to the OEM radio. It has an internal security feature making it unusable without the code once power has been removed from it. It does not affect the cars wirring in any way. There is a possibility you have a blown fuse somewhere, or maybe a loose connection/wrong wire somewhere. There are a couple fuses that send power to the radio, so make sure you get them all.
