Default indiglo guage question

I figure this is the best forum to ask this question. My indiglo guage lights have been working on and off for a few months and the other day they just stopped working all together. I checked all the wiring and couldnt see any problems. I dont know much about them but i understand the transformer could be shot? If so can I just get a transformer from somwhere? Thanks for any help.

when indiglos die, it's not the transformer that goes, it's usually one of the gauges. they're like xmas lights, if one is bad the entire series dies with it. the best way to test is to tap the positive and negative of gauge to the battery. this way you can start pin pointing the problem. if all 3 work, then it's the transformer.

i think indiglo gauges are just poorly made. ive had a few sets go out on me. either they go one at a time, or all three at once. thats just my opinion.
