hey, can someone reccomend to me some decent interior speakers for my 95 GSR? i believe they use 4 6.5" speakers but i havent gotten a chance to look it up yet. i dont want the best ones, just some cheap decent ones that can keep up with the bass in the back. the stockies are kinda holdin up, but arent as crisp as i would like them. i have 2 12" rockford fosgate he2's with a rf 500.2 amp...their rms is 400 watts each and im only feeding them 250 each and they are insanely loud in the new sealed box i made. any reccomendations? i would like to spend the absolute least amount of money possible

 

infinity kappa series are the best bang of the buck

 

Is $99 for a Component set cheap enough for you? Fry's has been running an ad for some Polk Audio components for that much, and Will showed me that on sounddomain.com they are selling Crysal components for the same price. If you want a good coax speaker, the Kenwood DualMags(purple cones) are sweeeeet, but for the same price you could have components so its up to you.

While a/d/s/ are some of my favorite drivers out there, they are FAR from budget.

I would try the crystal comps on sounddomain, or for low powered applications, Infinity Reference. If you have a bit more juice, try the Kappas.

I really think that you should just do the fronts, and try to get a small amp on them...that would be much more beneficial then trying to power all 4 sets from a headunit. The more power you feed them, the louder they will go without distorting...hence they will be able to keep up with your bass.

 

I am very happy with my Boston Acoustics Pro 6.5 components. If you're into bright speakers, go give them a listen. Pricey, but worth it.

$449 for the 2-way, $749 for the 3-way.

They seem alright and should sound way better than the stock paper speakers....

 

Werd, I got Infinity Kappa 5 1/4" components in the front, but I'm gonna upgrade to 6 1/2" components in the wintertime....they are clean and relatively cheap. They will definitely keep up!
