That thing is only going to work if you have an AiNet capable headunit.....if your head unit doesn't have it....well then it won't work...

the heads with model numbers starting with CDA have the AiNet bus...

Again, that's all IIRC, so I would check alpine's tech center for your particular headunit to see if I'm right or not. Alpine uses two types of connections...AiNet and Mbus.
